We will have slightly reduced capacity during this time due to the restraints of contactless medicine so please book ahead for routine appointments. If you need to pick up food and medications please call ahead to order so we can have it ready for you when you arrive. This helps cut down on congestion at reception. COVID-19 Protocol St Lukes Veterinary Centre Level 1
St Lukes Veterinary Centre through all COVID-19 levels. At Level 1 it is business as usual. To help us mainatin social distancing we ask if you can limit the number of people who accompany your pet to the clinic. If you are unwell or have been in contact with anyone with COVID-19 or managed isolation, please do not come into the clinic. Please call us so we can make arrangements to see your pet. We can arrange delivery of food & medication where required.

Telemedicine Consultation
We can now offer Telemedicine consultations for our clients who are unable to come into the clinic. Please call the clinic on 098455573 to arrange an appointment.
Before your appointment we will email you a link to a Zoom meeting video call. If you haven't already downloaded Zoom you can CLICK HERE for the link to their website. For laptops, click on the Zoom Client for Meetings or else scroll down to the link to either Apple store or Google play.
Our philosophy is to provide our clients with the highest quality veterinary care for their pets. With three experienced veterinarians, we take a team approach for those difficult cases to ensure the best outcome for your pet. We can provide the full range of veterinary care, from health checks and vaccinations, through to dentistry and xrays, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. We have a well equipped in house laboratory which enables us to run blood tests, and have results within half an hour. We have plenty of parking under the building, and a friendly team of staff to care for your pet, we look forward to seeing you in our new clinic

St Lukes Veterinary Centre is one of only two veterinary clinics in central Auckland to meet the NZVA standards to be BESTPRACTICE accredited.The BESTPRACTICE standards have been modelled on equivalent overseas standards and adapted to the New Zealand situation. BESTPRACTICE Clinic Standards itemises the standards of service, facilities, equipment, and management considered essential in veterinary practice.The standards encourage the ongoing critical evaluation of the practice's surgical, medical, diagnostic and nursing protocols in order to maintain a high level of excellence.Practices are audited by independent veterinary auditors prior to initial accreditation and then every two years. The current auditors are the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Verification Agency.
